I’m looking for advice regarding the possibility of canceling my Anytime Fitness membership. When I signed up, my weekly rate was $16.95, but it has now increased to $24.95. Additionally, my ‘home’ gym has changed due to a move, which complicates things further.

We’re currently 12 months into an 18-month contract, and I haven’t signed any new documents since enrolling. Given the nearly 50% price hike and my dissatisfaction with the gym facilities in south-east Melbourne, I’m eager to cancel my membership.
