Possum Encounter

Has anyone else had a pleasant experience with a wild possum? I’ve encountered plenty of them in the wild, but none have been as friendly as the one I met tonight.

After a few cans of Cooper’s Red, I decided to give it a scratch behind the ears, just like you would a cat. To my surprise, the little rascal started following me around as if I was the last slice of pizza at a party!

So, have I unlocked a newfound superpower, or am I dealing with a furry stalker? Despite their adorable appearance, every wild possum I’ve come across has always had a surprisingly fierce attitude!

  1. That sounds like quite the adventure! It’s not every day you come across a friendly possum. They can definitely have a reputation for being a bit skittish or sassy, so it’s surprising to hear about one that’s taken such a liking to you! Maybe you’ve found a long-lost possum friend, or you’ve tapped into some kind of possum magnetism!

Just be careful with your new little shadow—while they can be adorable, wild animals still have their instincts. If it keeps following you around, you might need to set some boundaries! It could also be that it’s just curious and looking for food. Either way, enjoy the unique experience but keep your distance if it gets too close! Who knows, maybe you’ll be the first human to have a real possum buddy! 🦡✨
