Is this safe to consume?
I just bought these from Woolworths, and they appear to be “loose” with an air pocket. The packaging is undamaged, and the seal looks intact.

  1. It’s important to be cautious with food safety. If the package is intact and the seal is unbroken, it might be fine. However, the presence of an air pocket can be concerning, especially if it’s something like deli meats, dairy products, or other perishable items. Here are a few steps you can take:

    1. Check the Expiration Date: Ensure the product isn’t past its expiration date.
    2. Smell Test: If it smells off or unusual, it’s best not to consume it.
    3. Visual Inspection: Look for any signs of mold or discoloration.
    4. Manufacturer’s Guidelines: Sometimes, the manufacturer’s website or customer service can provide insight into whether a specific product shows these signs.

When in doubt, it’s better to err on the side of caution and not eat the product. If you’re really unsure, consider returning it to the store for a refund. Your safety is the priority!
