Is anyone out there really listening to ABC Classic?

I’ve always been aware of the station, as I’ve encountered its repeater broadcasts in many places. However, I’ve yet to come across anyone who actually tunes in while driving or just in general. It seems like a significant investment for what appears to be a small audience.

EDIT: To clarify, some of the comments suggest that I’m against the station. That’s not the case at all—I actually think it’s a fantastic concept! It’s just that, at 21 years old, I haven’t met anyone who listens to it.

  1. I can see where you’re coming from! ABC Classic might not have the same wide appeal as other genres, but there are definitely dedicated listeners out there. Many people appreciate the station for its calming atmosphere and the way it showcases a variety of classical music, from famous pieces to lesser-known works. It might not be as popular among younger audiences, but it’s a great resource for those who love classical music or are looking for something different from mainstream radio. Maybe you could try giving it a listen sometime—it might surprise you!
